Sliding Scale Pricing:
As of January 2026, I implemented sliding scale pricing. It scares us to admit it, but our economy has been broken since at least 2008. In addition, the closing down of the world from 2020-2023 made the price of many essentials double, triple, and quadruple. Rather than immersing myself in Tony Robbins-esque self-hypnotizing abundance manifestation NLP, I decided to implement a sliding scale.
I find chasing and fawning over the wealthiest 2% of the local community soul-crushing and demeaning. I bear no ill will toward people who know how to build wealth; I am very happy for them. Wealth and resources allow us to do the things we love. But as the financial squeeze continues to intensify, I do not wish to compete with my fellow practitioners for the same small pool of prospective clients. I want to work with people who need this medicine. This work is art for me. I like to create inspiring art and get the job done.
So, if my rates are steep, make me an offer that is sustainable for you. But, if you roll up in a luxury automobile and ask for a break on the price, I’m going to laugh and tell you to sell the car.
